What's so funny?

With my undergraduate graduation, my senior exhibit, a wonderful girlfriend and the start of my summer illustration work -- I've been quite busy... and thankfully everything has been a great success. With saying this, I decided I would post my Elvis Costello music interpretation poster. I completed this during spring break week while I was in North Carolina with some friends... at that time and still, i'm asking myself who's using peace in the right way?...
Stay tuned for more updates including my commisioned work, new comic pages and even a submission piece for a national contest.

Karma Comes Around

This here is a thumbnail for a story called "Karma Comes Around." A seven page black and white story that I plan to have completed for an anthology book i've been working on since Guthrie's completion. Thumbnail sketches are done while im writing and serve as a guide for panel and page composition, dialogue placement and even sometimes, as you can see, character development : ) Hope your excited... stay tuned for the announcement of my senior exhibition - hope to see you there!

Washington Theatre Commission

Long time no post! I decided I would share a recent commission where I was not only allowed free reign to create architecture (one of my favs) but also to somewhat involve sequential art. To top that all off, it was and is for a great cause. The Washington Theatre is an old but soon to be lovely theatre with great potential of revival in Warren County. My drawings served as conceptual visuals for a proposal done with Warren County's community college. Enjoy!
Washington Theatre can be reached online at : www.thewashingtontheatre.com

Enjoy the promo and hope you're looking forward to the story!

We're all blue from projection tubes

I believe it's important to know how far one's grown as an artist, so i've decided I'd post this this early music interpretation poster from 2004. Knowing that no one will ever see this in my exhibits and with the familiarity of my current art's quality compared, I think it's safe to show this piece to everyone. Enjoy the "old" me! (I'm still young)
