Venice Arts Anthology cover!!

Here's the cover to my student's anthology comic: "Here, There & Everywhere" containing all of their characters in full digital color glory!!... Each student not only drew their characters along with my Barack Obama, but they took the time to ink and digitally color until it's completion!
I'm very proud of my class and hope to be involved with Venice Arts soon!! So much fun!!

Fun this month!!...

This month I have the pleasure to teach my first comics workshop at Venice Arts. An amazing non-profit arts organization with an amazing mission statement in Venice, CA!

The class has been a blast so far and it's definitely keeping me busy!!...Stay tuned for comic pages from our class goal: A comic anthology tited "Here, There & Everywhere"!

I'm so happy to announce my new partnership with the folks at Down & Derby - A roller skating disco dance party!!!... Amazing. This is the first of the flyers.. hope the fun pops off the page!!!

The new series of Roller Dames will be on display for the coming months of Down & Derby events in Echo Park with prints and original artwork : ) I'm currently working with a goal to do 3 new Roller Dames every week so that each show is filled with new work!!...

Wrapped up with new commissions and a new portfolio!!

So, there's a lot work-wise stuff going on -- I've begun some new commissioned artwork for new clients and even started fine tuning what will be my storyboard portfolio for this year.

I'm real excited to begin more storyboarding opportunities. I find it to be quite fulfilling especially since all I want to do is draw day to day : )

All New: "A Burning In Bernadette" !

Here's my latest comic piece, a continuing installment of The Hello World Zine (magazine), titled "A Burning in Bernadette." This is the 2nd installment where i've used a method of gray tones that I haven't in quite some time. I now use a marker more heavily and it's drawn, but it felt good to go back to this digital method...

You might also notice I'm using some new word/thought balloon methods... as far as I know, they are, to me : )

Roller Dames Series 2 update!

So, I've been busy with a few projects. Roller Dames is continuing to be of a concentration. I'm looking for new ways to find motion and energy through unique poses I could offer these body types. It's ending up being quite the challenge. Especially restricted vertically... Let me know what you think of her! : )
